Lets Make Change.

It took him long enough…

There has been speculation that Lieberman may be offered the Republican endorcement now that Allen Schlesinger is being pressured to drop out of the race due to his recent gambling scandle. When Lieberman’s campaign was contacted to see if he would accept the endorsement and run on a Republican line he took a day to think it over but today released this statement:

“Joe Lieberman will never run as a Republican. Never.”

There you go, pretty clear.  But why did he take a day to give what should have been an obvious answer.  I dont blame him for considering it, he is practicly a republican as it is, he would probubly feel quite at home going all the way.  But I guess he would perfer running in the Lieberman for CT party.

Didn’t one of the 25 founders of Lieberman for CT give some $15,000 to the RNC?

Cleveland A. Christophe, one of the 25 founders of the new right wing party, Connecticut For Lieberman, is pretty broadminded in his political contributions.

In addtion to Dem candidates, he’s given to Chris Shays, Rick Lazio (of NY), William Weld’s Senatorial campaign and a whopping $15,000 to the Republican National Committee.
