  1. Xenophobia is, sadly, increasing throughout the world, on an long-term irreversable trend.

    On the issue, there is nothing that can be done, and there is no answer to the immigration question (oops. Government is inefficient and can’t get anything done.), except for one thoroughly unpleasant solution.

  2. I would slam the boarders shut. Make it a felony with a 20 manadatory jail sentance or deportation if caught as an illegal, make it a million dollar fien if a company is caught hiring an illgelal immagrant a second time.

    As to the illegals here, I would give them 6 months to registewr with the government, with total amestry for beign an “illegal immagrant”, and at the end of the 6 months would enforce the felony charge and the penality against businesses.

    IMO, it is not the immigrants that is the problem, but their illegal status.

    I would also offer mexico the chance to become the 51st US state. They have lots of oil after all. 😉
